Precautions
• The total extension cable length must be 13.2m (43.31 feet) or less.
• Do not install the extension cables together with the main circuit lines (high
voltage and large current).
• Set a unique number for each extension base.
• If some Q5 B and Q6 B extension base units are used on the same
system, they can be connected in any order.
However, confirm the applicability of each unit referring to the QCPU User's
Manual (Hardware Design, Maintenance and Inspection).
• The QA1S6 B and Q6 RB cannot be used as an extension base unit.
• Connect the extension cable from OUT of the extension cable connector of
the base unit to IN of the next extension base unit.
• Mounting 66 or more modules (including CPU modules) causes an intelligent
function module assignment error (error code: 2124, SP.UNIT LAY ERR.)
• "Number of CPUs" is the number of CPU modules set for "Number of CPUs"
in the <<Multiple CPU settings>> tab of C Controller setting utility.
• For details of the Motion CPU, refer to the manual for the Motion CPU.
• When the Q12DCCPU-V is CPU No.1, only the Q172DCPU and Q173DCPU
can be installed.
When the Q06CCPU-V(-B) is CPU No.1, no Motion CPU can be installed.
• Programmable controller CPUs cannot be installed.
