16.5 Hardware Self-Diagnostic Function
The hardware self-diagnostics function allows the hardware check of the C Controller
module.

Q12DCCPU-V
Starting the C Controller module in the hardware self-diagnostic mode allows the
module to perform the following hardware self-diagnostic tests and initialization
setting. ( (3) in this section)
(a) Hardware self-diagnostic test
* 1 The numeric value is indicated on the 7-segment LED when the mode is switched as described in
the following section.

Mode 2(02) Ethernet diagnostic test
Conducts a loopback test of CH1 and CH2 (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
interface).
Mode 3(03)
CompactFlash card
interface diagnostic test
Diagnoses the status of the CompactFlash card interface.
(This test does not diagnose whether the inserted CompactFlash card is
normal or not. Data are not written to the CompactFlash card.)
Mode 4(04) RS-232 diagnostic test Conducts a self-loopback test of CH3 (RS-232 interface).
Mode 5(05) USB diagnostic test Diagnoses the status of the USB interface.
Mode 6(06) Bus diagnostic test Writes/reads/verifies the memory of the internal bus and register.
Mode 7(07) 7-segment LED test Conducts 7-segment LED indication tests.
