ThisistheInternetProtocol(IP)addressofthelocalEthernetinterfaceboard.
Inmostcases,eachEthernetboardhasauniqueIPaddress,evenwhenaninterface
boardsupportsmultiplesockets.Ifyouhavemorethanoneinterfaceboard,youare
providedwithalistoftheavailableaddresses.
4Remoteport(UDP)
Specifythelocalnetworkport.TheEK15usesthisnetworkporttotransmit
information.Theapplicationontheremotecomputerwill“listen”tothisport
number.
5RemoteIPAddress
SelecttheInternetProtocol(IP)addressfortheremotecomputer.
Ifthedatacommunicationissetuptoreceivedataonly,thisparameteris
notrequired.Ifyouwishtosetupanoutputforbroadcast,deneIPaddress
255.255.255.255.Thisisthedefaultsetting.
Ifyouusepoint-to-pointcommunicationinaclosednetwork,youneedtoenter
theremoteIPaddressmanually.
