Purpose
TheRemoteControldialogboxallowsyoutocontroltheremotelycontrolledoperation
oftheEK15,bothhowtheEK15canbecontrolledfromaperipheralsystem,andhow
theEK15canexportinformationtothissystem.
Important
TheRemoteControlfunctionalityisanoption.Inordertousethesefunctions,a
dedicatedsoftwarelicenseisrequired.NotethattheEK15canonlyoperateasaserver.
Description
TheEK15softwareandcomputercanfunctionasadataserverforclientapplications
runningonperipheralcomputersconnectedtothelocalareanetwork(LAN).Inthiscase
dataaretransferredasUDPpacketsfromandtotheEK15serverusinganEthernet
adapterwithaspecicIPaddress.TheServertabisonlyusedifyouwanttosetupand
usetheEK15computerasaserverforsuchclientapplications.
