Procedure
1ClicktheExitbuttonintheprogram.
ItislocatedontheTitleBarinthetoprightcornerofthedisplaypresentation.
2Observethattheprogramclosesdown.
3Ifthecomputerdoesnotswitchitselfoffautomatically,usethefunctionality
providedbytheoperatingsystemtoswitchitoffmanually.
4Switchoffthecolourdisplay.
Ifrequired,refertotheinstructionsprovidedbythedisplaymanufacturer.
5Switchoffthetransceiver(s).
TheSingleBeamTransceiver(SBT)isnotprovidedwithanon/offswitch.
Unlessadedicatedsolutionhasbeenprovidedduringtheinstallationtofacilitate
poweron/off,youcanleavethetransceiver(s)on.However,ifyouknowthatthe
EK15isnottobeusedforalongerperiodoftime,disconnectthepowertothe
transceiver(s).
Startingnormaloperation
OnceyouhavepoweredupthecompleteEK15system,youarereadytostarttheactual
operation.
Whenstartedup,theEK15willautomaticallyapplyitsprevioussetupparameters.
TheproceduresassumethattheEK15hasatleastonefrequencychannel(transceiver
andtransducer)readilyconnected.Ifthisisnotthecase,observetherelevantinstallation
procedure.

Theseproceduresarepartlyprovidedtogetyouacquaintedwiththebasicfunctionality
providedbytheEK15,partlytosetupthesystemfornormaluse,andpartlytostart
normaloperation.
