Choosingautomaticstartdepth
Purpose
Thisprocedureexplainshowtoenableuseofthe
automaticstartdepthfunction.Thestartrangeis
controlledbytheStartRangebuttonontheMainmenu.
Note
TheAutomaticStartDepthfunctionwillonlyworkinsurfacerelatedechograms.
Example5AutomaticStartDepth
IfyousetRangeto20metersandenabletheAutomaticStartDepthfeature,your
echogramwillalwaysbedrawntomakethebottomcontourappearclosetothe
bottomofyourechogrampresentation.Ifthewaterdepthexceeds20meters,the
EK15willautomaticallymovethestartrangedown.Therangeiskept,butasthe
startrangeismoved,thebottomcontourisstillvisible.
