Purpose
Thisprocedureexplainshowtoinstallafrequencychannel.
Description
EachEK15transceiverwithitstransducerand(single)frequencyisreferredtoasa
frequencychannel
.
TheupperpartoftheTransceiverInstallationdialogboxdisplaysalistoffrequency
channelswhicheitherare,orhavebeen,installedontheEK15.Foreachchannelonthe
list,aStatuslabelisprovided.
ThefollowingstatusvaluesareavailableintheTransceiverInstallationdialogbox.
•Busy:Thefrequencychannelisalreadyinuse,probablybyanotherechosounderon
thesamenetwork.Youcannotconnecttothischannel.
•Installed:ThisfrequencychannelisconnectedtoyourEK15system.
•Lost:Thisfrequencychannelcannotbeused.
•Available:Thisfrequencychannelisvacantandreadyforuse.
