Rangefunction
TochangetheRange,clickRangeontheMainmenu.
Purpose
TheRangefunctionallowsyoutospecifytheverticalrangeofthewatercolumncovered
bytheechogram.Therangeisdenedfromaselectedstartrange,anddowntoavalue
beneaththecurrentbottomdepth.Thevalueshownandselectedisbydefaultapplied
onlytothecurrentlyselectedechogram.
Description
Therangesettingdeneshow“deep”youwishthe
EK15todetectechoes,thatistheverticaldistance
betweenthe“top”andthe“bottom”oftheechogram.
TheRangesettingspeciesthis“bottom”depth,while
theStartRangesettingspeciesthe“top”depth.
Therangeyouspecifyappliestothecurrentlyselected
echogram(identiedwithathickborder).Severalechogramtypesareavailable,these
areselectedintheEchogramdialogbox.
