WhenyoudonotusetheEK15,switchoffthedisplayandthecomputer.
IfyouknowthatyouwillnotusetheEK15foralongtime,werecommendthatyoualso
switchoffthetransceiver(s).Sinceeachtransceiverisnotprovidedwithapowerswitch,
youmusteitherdisconnectthepowercable,ordisengagetherelevantcircuitbreaker.

Ifthetransducerisactivatedwhenoutofwateritmaybedamagedbeyondrepair.Itis
thereforeveryimportantthatnoonetriestousetheEK15whenthevesselisindrydock.
Toensurethatthiscannothappen,disconnectthepowersupplycabletotheeitherthe
computerorthetransceiver-orboth!Youmayalsoremovethecircuitbreakersonthe
ACmainssupplytotheEK15transceiver(s).Dothisbefore
thevesselisplacedin
thedrydock!
