EK15installationcanthenbeusedtomonitorthe
shbehaviourandfoodwasteinalargenumberofsh
cages.Thetransducersarethenphysicallyinstalled
insidethecageswiththetransducerfacingupwards.
TheEK15transducerscanalsobeplacedatthe
seabedinopenwater-orinariver-forlong-term
monitoringoftheecosystem.Duetothefactthat
severaltransceiversandtransducerscanbeconnected
simultaneously,youcanforexampleestablishan
acoustic“fence”tomonitorshpassage.
Inordertoadjusttheechogrampresentationstothis
use,theBeamDirectionfunctionisintroduced.Unlike
thepresentationonatraditionalshndingecho
sounder,youcanselectUpwards.Thepresentationis
thenadjustedforatransducerlocatedatthebottomof
theechogramlookinguptowardstheseasurface.

ThisinformationcanbechangedusingtheoptionsontheHorizontalAxistabinthe
Echogramdialogbox.

Onceyouturntheechogramupsidedown,severalfamiliarfeaturesarenotsouseful
anylonger.
