Thisviewpresentsindividualcolourlines.Thecolourandlengthofeachline
reectsthereceivedechoamplitude.
EBydefault,the“pingtime”andthedepthrangeisshowninthebottomleftsideof
theechogram.Inthebottomrightcorner,the“pingtime”isthesameascurrent.
ThisinformationcanbechangedusingtheoptionsontheHorizontalAxistabinthe
Echogramdialogbox.
FThisisthelowerendofthedepthrange.Itisnormallyafewmetersbelowthe
bottomcontour,dependingonthechosenrange.

Inabottomechogram,settheStartRangevalueto–5meters.Thiswillmakethe
echogramstartfrom5metersabovethebottom.SetRangetothe5metersplus
10=15meters.Theechogramwillnowshowtheareafrom5metersabovethe
depth,anddownto10meters“below”thebottom.Thebottomcontourwillappear
asaatline.
ThebiomasscalculationismadeinthesamewayasforSurfaceechograms.

biomasscalculationsarenotlimitedbythebottomdetection.

transducer.Providedthatthedepthislargerthan60meters,thebottomcontour
isnotshown.
Thebiomasscalculationsarenotrestrictedbythebottomdetection.Thismeansthatthe
bottomechowillbeincludedincalculationsifitappearswithinthechosenrange.
