RangebuttonsontheMainmenu.
Thebiomassisautomaticallycalculatedbasedonchoicesyoumakeinthe
CalculationIntervaldialogbox;withinagiventimeframe,adenednumberof
pings,oraportionoftheechogramview.Thedataisthentakenfromanechoarea
startingimmediatelyafterthetransmitpulse,andendingjustoverthedetecteddepth.
Ifyouhavelimitedyourverticalrange(usingtheRangeandStartRangesettings),
theresultingareaisusedforthebiomasscalculation.Iftheseabedisclearly
denedwithauniquebottomdetection,thebottomechowillnot
beincludedinthe
calculations.Therefore,ifyouswitchthebottomdetectoroff,thebottomechowill
beincludedinthecalculation.
