OnAir Digital Mixing Consoles
6-16  Conguration
Document generated: 10.10.14
SW V6.0
Since Livewire Listeners are logical sources of format stereo, the OnAir
application software (especially the Configuration Tool) handles consecutive
sources (Source Right, etc.) as known from other logical sources - they are
ignored and grayed out.
LVDS inputs associated to Livewire I/O cards can also be mapped to Logi-
calInputs, but without a Listener mapped to the first source of a Logical
Input, neither stream selection/patching nor label transfer is provided for that
LogicalInput.
(cont.)
Line / Mic Changes the view of the channel page in such a way that only the parameters
corresponding to the input type are displayed. Selections: Line or Mic. If Mic
is selected, remote control of the mic preamplifier is automatically enabled.
Note : If the LogicalInput is a Relink NetConsumer, Line/Mic cannot be changed.
The type is always inherited from the NetSource. In this case Line from
NetSource or Mic from NetSource is indicated. (See screenshot above).
further Note : If Line is selected, the mic preamplifier settings are not accesible at all.
In case where the LogicalInput is mapped to a physical Mic/Line input card,
the mic preamplifier settings are automatically set as follows :
• GainaccordingtoMaximumLevelandAnalogTrimLevel
• +48V=Off
