6. GUI orientation
6.16 Conguration Menu > Adjustment > D estination Conguration
General
Output conguration that are created in the previous menus ar e assigned to destination in the Destination Panel.
Description
Destination conguration menu is accessed by clicking on the Destination tab.
This menu provides:
A list of all the destinations (Screen, Aux) already created on the system
(e.g. S creenDest1)
A button to add screen des tination.
A button to add Aux destination.
A button to delete unused or o bsolete destination(s).
The user c an assign outputs to output congurations manually, automatically or delete ou tputs from congur ations.
Destination formats
Few w ords about destination formats:
For S creen Destinations: All subsequent new output congurations added to the Screen Destination will have its output format
updated to match the Scr een Destination output format. If the rst output cong in the Screen Des tination is deleted and a new
output conguration is added, then the new output format becomes as the destination output format again.
For AUX Destination: An AUX destination alway s assumes the format of the output conguration that is ass igned to it.
Rules
There several rules that apply when de ning an Destination conguration:
1. Destinations accept only the same output connector types. SDI and HDMI connec tors cannot be mixed in the same destination.
2. Destinations accept only output congurations with the sam e n umber of output connec tors. For exam ple if the 1st output co n-
guration add ed is an HDMI output c ongur ation w ith 2 connectors, an HDMI output conguration with 1 connector c annot be
added to the same destination.
3. Cannot add an output c onguration to a destination if it i
s not c apable of u sing the O utput format s elected. F or example: A n
Output conguration has a total connector c apacity of 2 it cannot be assigned to a 4K destination.
4. Cannot add different output congurations with different number of output connectors. For exam ple if the 1st output congura-
tion added is a HDMI output congur ation with 2 connectors, an HDMI output conguration with 1 connector canno t be added
to the same destination.
More about AUX Destinations
Based on the layer mode, the user can create A UX Destination on an output card. Layer mode is set in the System Modier Panel.

Color codes
Screens and Aux are represented graphically in the Diagram area.
Green: Output(s) have been assigned to the destination
Yellow: Output(s) have not been assigned to the destination.
