To specify a list of service identifiers as active and standby services, use the service-carving command in
the EVPN Interface Ethernet segment configuration mode. To delete service carving of a list of service
identifiers, use the no form of this command.
service-carving manual[primary service-id -range secondary service-id-range]
no service-carving manual[primary service-id-range secondary service-id-range]
Syntax Description
Specifies service identifiers or EVI-list services manually.manual
Specifies the primary services list.primary
Specifies the secondary services list.secondary
Specifies the services list notation in the range 100, 201-300, 401. The
range is within 256 to 16777214.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
