To set the maximum age parameter for the bridge, use the maximum age command in MSTP configuration
submode.
maximum age seconds
Syntax Description
Maximum age time for the bridge in seconds. Range is 6 to 40.

To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
