14.6.2 PAWP Equipment Assembly
14.6.3 Preparations for Measurement
Before measurement, please read the instructions for the Swan-Ganz catheter and IBP sensor.
1) Connect the IBP sensor, IBP cable and module; please refer to "
Section14.3 Monitoring Steps"
for more
information.
2) Connect the PA port of Swan-Ganz catheter and the patient port of the IBP sensor.
3) Zero the pressure sensor. Please refer to "
Section14.3.3 Zero the Pressure Sensor
" for more information.
4) Set the IBP marker to [PA], and PAWP is measured based on PA. Please refer to "
Section14.5.2 Change Pressure

" for more information.
PA alarm will be disabled when entering PAWP Measurement window.
PAWP measurement is not intended for neonates.
