8.5.3 Arrhythmia Setup
8.5.3.1 Set Arrhythmia Alarm
1) Select the ECG parameter area or waveform area to enter [ECG] menu.
2) Select [Arrhythmia] tab → [Alarm] tab.
3) Set the alarm for each kind of arrhythmia as needed.
The alarm priority of lethal arrhythmia is “high” priority and cannot be modified.
8.5.3.2 Set the Switch Status of Lethal Arrhythmia Alarm
1) Select [Main Menu] →[Maintenance] of [System] column→ enter maintenance password → end with Enter
key.
2) Select [Alarm] tab → [Other] tab.
3) Set the status of [Lethal Arrhy. Alm] switch:
If [Restrict] ( default setting) is selected:when Lethal Arrhythmia Alarms are triggered on the monitor
and the user cannot cancel them.
When [Allow] is selected: the Lethal Arrhythmia Alarms on the screen are allowed to be cancelled by
users. Please refer to “8.5.3.1 Set Arrhythmia Alarm” for details.
Dangerous occurrences arise if the monitor fails to trigger arrhythmia alarms due to switching off all
arrhythmia alarms by users. Thus users shall pay close attention to the patient’s actual clinical
conditions.
If a lethal arrhythmia alarm is switched off, the message “Lethal Arrhythmia Alarm Off” will be
displayed in the ECG waveform area.
8.5.3.3 Set Arrhythmia Threshold
Thresholds for some arrhythmias can be set. When the value of an arrhythmia exceeds its threshold an alarm will
be triggered. Steps to set the arrhythmia threshold are as follows:
