In order to prevent the entry of cleaning solution and dust into the ISA gas analyzer via the LEGI port, the
Nomoline sampling line should always be connected when cleaning the ISA analyzer. Never soak the ISA
sidestream gas analyzer in any liquid for disinfection.
The Nomoline sampling line is not a sterile device. In order to avoid damage, please do not sterilize any
part of the sampling line under high pressure.
The IRMA airway adapter is not a sterile device. In order to avoid damage, do not sterilize the device
under high pressure.
Before cleaning the IRMA sensor, please remove the disposable IRMA airway adapter. Never disinfect the
IRMA sensor or soak it in any liquid.
CAUTION
If any liquid enters into the device or any accessory accidently, please contact the maintenance personnel
or our Company immediately.
If the device gets wet or damp accidentally, put it in a ventilated place and then contact the maintenance
personnel or our company immediately.
Do not open the monitor to clean or repair it.
Do not use abrasive detergents (e.g., steel wool, silver polish or cleaner).
The pH value of the cleaning solution must be between 7.0 ~ 10.5.
23.2 Cleaning of the Monitor, Plug-in Modules
The monitor, plug-in modules should be kept clean. It is suggested that the external surface should be cleaned
frequently, especially in environments with tough conditions or windy and dusty places where the cleaning
frequency should be increased. Prior to cleaning, please first consult or understand relevant rules of your hospital
on device cleaning. Recommended detergents are as follows: water, alcohol (75%).
Cleaning steps:
1) Power the device off, and unplug the power supply cord from mains supply.
2) Use a soft cloth with a proper amount of detergent to wipe outside housing of the monitor, plug-in modules
and module rack. Take care not to contact their connectors and metal parts.
3) Use a soft, dry cloth to remove residual detergent.
4) Put the device in a cool, well-ventilated environment for air drying.
Occasionally, as required, clean the display using a soft, lint-free cloth sprayed with an alcohol free glass cleaner.
Do not use either isopropyl alcohol or solvent which may cause damage when cleaning the display. The use of paper
towels is not recommended as it may scratch the surface.
