WARNING
 Replace the airway adapter if rainout/condensation occurs inside the airway adapter.
The IRMA airway adapter is designed as a non-sterile single patient use disposable for both Adult/Pediatric and
Infant applications. The IRMA Infant airway adapter has specially designed connectors for minimizing the dead
space and can be used even for very small patients.
IRMA airway adapters: Adult/Pediatric (REF: 106220) and Infant (REF: 106260)
WARNING
 Do not use the IRMA Adult/Pediatric airway adapter with infants as the adapter adds 6 ml dead space
to the patient circuit.
 Do not use the IRMA Infant airway adapter with adults as this may cause excessive flow resistance.
15.9.7 Maintenance
The user should verify gas readings regularly; If any problems occur, contact an engineer of the manufacturer for
maintenance
