2) Select [Alarm] tab → [Nurse Call] tab.
3) Select [Alarm Priority] to set the priority of alarm that can trigger the Nurse Call function.
4) Select [Alarm Category] to set the type of alarm that can trigger the Nurse Call function.
Do not rely upon the Nurse Call system function for generation of alarm signals. The clinical practice
must consider both the audio and visual alarm information and the patient’s clinical presentation and
symptoms.
Use the Nurse Call cable supplied by us to connect the Nurse Call interface with the Nurse Call system
of the hospital, otherwise this may lead to device damage and electric shock.
When using the Nurse Call function, regular checks shall be performed on the monitor’s alarm signal.
The Nurse Call System is required to meet the relevant IEC/ISO standard. Under normal conditions and
single fault conditions the maximum voltage accessible shall not exceed the rating (30VDC @ 2A).
7.18 Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) Mode
CPB mode (Cardiopulmonary Bypass mode) should be selected when a patient is admitted in [OR] (Operating Room)
department to have CPB treatment. In the CPB mode, except for BIS, NMT, and Sedline related alarms, all the
physiological alarms and technical alarms are switched off. When performing CPB, the information [CPB Mode] is
displayed in the physiological alarm area with a red background color.
7.18.1 Enter CPB Mode
You can set the monitor to Extracorporeal Circulation mode by the following methods:
Click [CPB Mode] hot key; or
Click [Main Menu] hot key → [Alarm] → [CPB Mode].
NIBP measurement will be terminated when the monitor enters theCPB mode. You can start
NIBP measurement again under CPB mode.
7.18.2 Exit CPB Mode
The user can exit CPB mode as follows:
Click [CPB] hot key; or
Click [Main Menu] hot key → [Alarm] → [Exit CPB Mode].
