2) Click [Alarm] tab → [Paused/Reset] tab.
3) Set [Pause] to [Alarm Pause] or [Alarm Audio Pause]. The default value is [Alarm Pause].
7.9.2 Alarm Pause
If the alarm function is defined as [Alarm Pause], Click [Pause] hot key to pause the alarm. This function will:
 Pause the alarm of all physiological alarm conditions.
 Pause the audio of all technical alarm conditions but the alarm lights and alarm messages remain.
 Display the remaining time of alarm paused in the physiological alarm message area.
 Display the alarm paused icon in the technical alarm message area, audio paused icon in physiological alarm
message area.
The monitor will recover from the alarm paused status after the alarm pause time expires. You can also press the
[Alarm Pause] hot key to cancel the alarm paused manually.
7.9.3 Set Alarm Pause Time
1) Click [Main Menu] hot key → [System] → [Maintenance], enter the maintenance password and click the Enter
key.
2) Click [Alarm] tab → then [Pause/Reset] tab.
3) Set [Pause time]: [1min], [2min], [3min], [Permanent].
7.9.4 Delay Alarm Pause Time
When the monitor is in the alarm pause state, you can delay the pause time of this alarm temporarily. This function
is turned on by default. Set it as follows:
1) Select the physiological alarm message area
2) Select [Pause 5 min], [Pause 10 min] or [Pause 15 min] on the pop-up menu.
Close the function of the delay alarm sound pause time as follows:
1) Click [Main Menu] hot key → [System] → [Maintenance], enter the maintenance password and click the Enter
key.
2) Click [Alarm] tab → [Pause/Reset] tab.
3) Deselect [Pause 5 min], [Pause 10 min] or [Pause 15 min] as required.
NOTE
 Temporarily delaying the pause time does not affect the setting of alarm pause time.
