Plug-in module
1) Insert the plug-in module to the monitor's interface.
2) Wait for 10s (Masimo CO
2
module) or 2min (Respironics and COMEN CO
2
module) until the sensor reaches its
working temperature and a stable thermal state.
3) Insert the sampling line into the interface of the CO
2
module securely until you hear a "click" sound, shown in
the figure below.
4) Zero the CO
2
sensor; please refer to "
Section 15.6 Zeroing the CO
2

7) For patients with tracheal cannula: install the airway adapter onto one end of the respiration circuit, such as
between the elbow tube and the Y-shaped tube, shown in the figure below:
