7.8.5 Parameter: Guide Value Oset (0x3806)
The Guide value oset modies the guide value used by the servo drive. It internally adds an oset to the Position guide
value.

Illustration 7.2 Example of Position Guide Value Oset in CAM
Mode
When using the guide value as master position as a relative value in CAM mode, only the change of the value of object
Guide value oset during operation has an eect. At the beginning of a CAM, the oset value is compensated by the internal
oset that is calculated for relative operation. Objects for Guide value oset and for CAM slave oset can be used in parallel,
that means that it is possible to have a master and a slave oset at the same time.
The value of the Guide value oset must be given in position guide value unit. That means that 1 master cycle is represented
by values from 0 to 0xFFFF FFFF. The oset is a signed value, so it is possible to advance or delay the position guide value
for half a round.
Example:
To advance the Position guide value for 45°, means having a Guide value oset of 0x2000 0000. To delay the Position guide
value for 90°, use 0xC0000 0000.
Changing a value has an immediate eect if the axis is currently processing the guide value.
