1 General information
1.1 Entries referring to the system
MBRAUN guarantees the performance of the equipment as stated in the order/contract.

Please refer to the “CE Declaration of Conformity” in this document to determine whether
the system is either:
¡ Completed machinery in accordance with the European Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC, Annex IIA, or
¡ Partly completed machinery in accordance with the European Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC, Annex IIB
Applicable law prohibits the operation of partly completed machinery. It is the obligation of
the operating company to extend the system with all legally required safety measures to
ensure that it complies with the European Machinery Directive before it is put into service.
If the MBRAUN system is part of a larger or superordinate system, the requirements of
the other system components must also be followed. In this case, it is the responsibility of
the operating company to ensure compliance with the European Machine Directive
2006/42/EC.
