4 Transport, installation and commissioning
4.1 Transport
The preparation of a MBRAUN system for transport should be handled by MBRAUN
technicians only. The transport of the system or any part of a multi-unit system should be
performed by a freight agency, which offers specialised transport capabilities.
4.1.1 Important transport labels

Optional for heavy load: indications of
side attachment points for hoists (red ar-
rows).
On packaging boxes, the pick-up side of
the load for a fork lift is marked (arrow in
the figure on the left).
Monitoring of tilt-sensitive loads with an
adhesive tilt watch label: if the black indic-
ator (arrow) in the middle of the label has
turned red, the load was strongly tilted
during transport.
Monitoring of shock-sensitive loads with
an adhesive shock watch label: if the
white indicator (arrow) in the middle of the
label has turned red, the item was subject
to a strong impact during transport.
