4.1.8 Rolling the equipment into position
MBRAUN equipment has castors for easy movement to the installation site, and ad-
justable feet for fixation and levelling.
1 Adjustable foot for fixation and levelling
2 Castors without wheel lock
3 Castors with a wheel lock (if available)
► Roll equipment into its final on-site position.
If the equipment has reached its position:
► Align the equipment with the neighboring system(s) or other attached equipment.
► Use a spirit level to horizontally level the equipment.
► Use the adjustable feet to secure the equipment at
the required height. Screw tightly the counter nut M20
(arrow) against the frame.
Two wheels of the gas purifier are equipped with wheel
locks:
► Kick down lever (arrow) of the lock mechanism to lock
the wheel.
4.2 Installation
MBRAUN recommends that an MBRAUN technician installs the system and performs ini-
tial commissioning.
If the operating company handles the installation and initial commissioning, the instruc-
tions below must be followed. Instructions from the PID diagram and the approval draw-
ing must also be taken into account if there are modifications to standard systems.
