3.14 Safety symbols affixed to the inert gas system
The operating company must ensure that labels are legible at all times the system is in
use.
The following figures show the safety alert symbols that may be affixed to the MBRAUN
system.
Warning messages
Hazardous electrical voltage
If the hazard is ignored, muscular cramps, burns or death
may occur.
Others
Indicates a (secondary) grounding point
Connect grounding point with customer premises ground
system. If this hazard is ignored, risk of injury, burnt tis-
sues and organs, muscle contraction or death may occur.
Instructions (could be optional suffixed on the system)
Protective face mask
Wear a protective face mask with breathing protection.
Goggles
Wear protective goggles.
Protective gloves
Wear protective gloves.
The operating company of the system is responsible to place adequate warning labels in
suitable, well visible places. This applies in particular to symbols and labels concerning
the risks that arise from the process with chemicals contained in the glovebox.
