4.2.4 System cooling
Cooling of the system is optional and is not a requirement.
Cooling circuit specification

Data Temperature 10 °C … 15 °C (must always be above the
condensation temperature)

Material ¡ Either Ø 9 mm fabric-reinforced hose, 3 mm wall thickness and ad-
apter Ø 9 mm, hose nozzle with Ø 10 mm Swagelok® fitting, or
¡ Ø 10 mm copper pipe and Ø 10 mm Swagelok® fitting or
¡ Ø 10 mm stainless steel pipe and Ø 10 mm Swagelok® fitting.

Mains water requirement
The mains water must comply with the following specification.
In many cases, the mains water complies with the indicated limit values. Information
about the mains water quality will be provided by your mains water supplier on request. If
no data about the mains water quality are available, MBRAUN recommends using the
distilled water available from any petrol station with the same quality found in the cooling
water used in cars. Never use sea water, water with a high Cu concentration, industrial
wastewater or water with high concentration of suspended particles.
