► Screw the new filter into place.
12.6.4 Calibrating and cleaning analysers
The analysers are maintenance-free. MBRAUN recommends (at least) an annual calibra-
tion of the analysers. The calibration cycles depend on the use of the measurement
devices and the gases used (purity, trace gases, etc.).
Sending used analysers to MBRAUN:
► Fill in the "Decontamination about declaration" (see Annex [}12 - 22]).
► Follow the instructions of the decontamination declaration.
Refer to Overview of a O2 and a H2O analyser [}1 - 1].
12.6.5 Antechamber
Check regularly:
¡ Sealing rings for soiling/damage/material fatigue
¡ Locking mechanism for easy running/turning
¡ Connection of the vacuum pump: sealing rings
¡ Functions of the valves
► Grease sticky antechamber doors slightly with vacuum grease.
► Replace sealing rings.
► Clean O-rings and sealing flanges with alcohol.
12.6.6 Reactor
Maintenance work on reactors may only be performed by MBRAUN Service, especially:
¡ Replacement of the reactor filling
¡ Replacement of the reactors
¡ Replacement of the angle valves (most likely a defect on other equipment could be
assumed)
