12.6.9 Optional and 3rd party components
MBRAUN inert gas systems can be equipped with additional components, for example:
¡ Universal Gas Probe (UGP)
¡ Refrigerator, box cooling (GS-nn, RKI)
¡ Recirculation chiller (RCC 1000)
Observe the instructions for inspection and maintenance in the relevant optional compon-
ent chapters.
Components of 3rd party manufacturers
Some MBRAUN inert gas systems can be equipped with components from 3rd party
manufacturers, for example:
¡ Vacuum pump(s)
¡ Compressor(s) for system cooling
¡ Compressor(s) for freezers
¡ Pressure regulators
¡ Safety overpressure valves
¡ Frequency converter
The original supplier documentation is included in the scope of delivery (refer to Equip-
ment from other manufactures [}10 - 4]).

► Observe all technical documents of 3rd party manufacturers.
12.7 Completing maintenance
Follow-up
► Connect the system to the power supply.
► Switch the system on.
Function checks - with power supply
After completion of the inspection and maintenance work:
► Perform functional tests, especially with valves and analysers,
► Perform electrical test: measure the leakage current,
► Perform leak test on the system
Electrical test
After each change to the electrical systems and after each maintenance and repair work,
an electrical test must be performed.
