To uninstall the analyser:
Close the opening with a blind flange as quickly as possible.
Close the clamp of the blind flange as quickly as possible.
To install a new analyser:
Close the opening with a blind flange as quickly as possible.
Close the clamp of the blind flange as quickly as possible.
Plug in the RJ45 plug to the analyser’s signal cable.
Activate the analyser on the touch panel.
If required, return the glovebox to normal operation.
8A.7 Returning analysers to MBRAUN
8A.7.1 Return service
MBRAUN offers a return service to take back analysers that are faulty or in need of calib-
ration. These analysers must not be contaminated. Because it can take up two or three
weeks before your original analyser is returned, MBRAUN will send a replacement. To
ensure uninterrupted operation, follow the steps below. If you have any questions, please
contact MBRAUN Service.
WARNING
An analyser that has been used with hazardous substances is contaminated
Risk of injury and disease
Decontaminate a used analyser immediately after removing it from the pipework.
The sensor is constantly exposed to the gas flow in the glovebox. When hazardous ma-
terials are used in the glovebox, there is a risk of contamination. Before you can receive a
replacement analyser:
Fill out the attached Declaration of Decontamination.
Send the complete Declaration to MBRAUN.
ð MBRAUN will provide an RMA number (“Return material authorisation number”) to-
gether with a return sheet
Once you have received the RMA number with the return sheet:
Complete the return sheet
Send the decontaminated analyser back to MBRAUN.
8A.7.2 Returning a faulty analyser
If an analyser is faulty:
Remove the analyser.
Decontaminate the analyser in accordance with the instruction in this document.
