Secure the new glove with a new O-ring on the
outer notch of the gloveport feedthrough.
Unload the old glove.
Recommissioning
After exchanging gloves, unwanted oxygen and moisture remains:
Purge the inert gas box manually (refer to chapter Inertisation [}8 - 3]).
ð As soon as the oxygen and moisture content is less than 100ppm, the box may be
put back into circulation operation.
Dispose of used gloves (refer to chapter Decommissioning [}12 - 21]).
12.6.3 Particle filter
A dirty box filter can contaminate the box atmosphere, damage the process materials and
increase the differential pressure of the blower!
Replace dirty filters in time.
Do not reuse used filters!
According to the degree of exposure of substances used in the system, it is recommen-
ded to regulate the procedure of filter changing in a standard operation plan (SOP).
Preparation
Place a new filter in a closed container.
Load the container into to box.
Take the new filter out of the container to make place for the used filter.
If toxic or harmful substances are used in the sys-
tem:
Carefully pull out the used filter unit.
Place the used filter into the container and seal
it.
Unload the filter and dispose of it properly.
Carefully remove loose particles from the box.
