NOTICE
Improper electrical leakage test
Damage of electrical filter and overvoltage protection devices
Deactivate all electrical filters and frequency converters before a leak test is ex-
ecuted.
Only skilled electricians are allowed to perform an electrical leak test.
Cyclical testing is due according to BGV A3 or in-house
regulation.
Document the test performed in your maintenance log.
12.8 Returning components for service purposes
Before parts can be sent back to MBRAUN:
Fill in the “Declaration of Decontamination” (see Annex [}12 - 22]).
Send the “Declaration of Decontamination” to MBRAUN.
Wait for confirmation:
The MBRAUN Service will inform you if all parts are accepted.
After receipt of confirmation, send the parts to MBRAUN.
12.9 Decommissioning
In case of a decommissioning a glovebox:
Remove all residual inert gas from the box.
Deliver all recoverable materials to the appropriate collection points for recycling and
reuse.
Parts of the gas purifier may be contaminated. In case of an improper disposal, there is a
risk of environmental, soil and groundwater pollution.
Dispose of system components in accordance with locally applicable regulations.
Dispose of used LMFs and RKMs as well as box filters at a hazardous waste deposit
and in accordance with locally applicable rules and laws.
Disposal of chemicals
Mark bottles, which include chemicals, with warning signs and a label.
Follow the instructions of the MSDS, the instructions of the manufacturer and all ap-
plicable safety rules.
MBRAUN takes no responsibility for any pollution of the environment and atmosphere
and the consequences.
