10A.1 Setting up the myMBRAUN app
With the myMBRAUN app, you can view glovebox data on your mobile device.
Each glovebox has assigned account information (project number and passcode). This
account information authenticates the communication between the glovebox, server and
app. The glovebox interface sends data to the MBRAUN server, and the server forwards
this information to your mobile device.

10A.1.1 Prerequisites
This manual describes the myMBRAUN app. It is assumed that you know how to use a
mobile device and how to install apps.
Additional prerequisites:
¡ Glovebox interface for connection to Internet connection (MBRAUN, article 1501500)
is installed in the MBRAUN gas purification system
¡ You have already received the account information, managed by MBRAUN (refer to
Account information [}1 - 11])
¡ Operation system on the mobile device:
¡ Android 4.4 or higher
¡ iOS 8.0 or higher
¡ Minimum available storage space on the mobile device:
¡ Android: 30 MB
¡ iOS: 21.4 MB
(Required storage space may increase due to program allocation.)
¡ The myMBRAUN app is installed on the mobile device (see QR code above)
¡ Glovebox and mobile device are connected to the Internet
10A.1.2 Preparatory steps
Users must register using the app and set up a connection between glovebox and app
(refer to Registering [}1 - 2]).
