11.1 Eliminating faults
11.1.1 PLC
Fault Debug
Start screen does not ap-
pear after system is
switched on
► Check communication between touch panel +
Siemens PLC + established link
► Check connector and electrical supply.
If fault cannot be eliminated, contact MBRAUN Service
11.1.2 Gas purifier
Fault Debug
Regeneration cycle perform-
ance decreases strongly or
oxygen values are con-
stantly too high even after
regeneration
► Perform a leak test.
Refer to the section Definition of alarm and warning messages [}11 - 5].
11.1.3 Glovebox
NOTICE
Process materials may be unusable after a system failure
► Properly dispose any unusable materials in accordance with applicable local laws and
regulations.

box atmosphere can be as-

Before an error in the measurement device can be as-
sumed:
► Check glovebox atmosphere for gas constituents,
like H
2
, etc. which could cause increased indica-
tions.
If the fault persists:
► Return O
2
analyser to MBRAUN Service.
Inaccurate measurement
values on the analysers
After exposure to air, analysers need several hours be-
fore they can deliver an accurate measurement:

O analyser: up to 24hours
