4.1.2 Storage conditions
The system can be stored safely under the following conditions
Room Room temperature between +10°C and +40°C with a relative humid-
ity ≤80%, no condensation
System Free of liquids or substances (e.g. process chemicals, etc.) Protec-
ted from dust and contamination
After moving the system from storage conditions to final site location allow sufficient time
for the system to adapt to the new environment.
4.1.3 Long-haul carriage
For a long-haul transport, MBRAUN equipment is packaged in wooden cases or is placed
on palettes with appropriate protective packaging.
MBRAUN packaging method follows HPE (www.hpe.de) guidelines and, if required, the
IPPC standards.
4.1.4 On-site transport and unpacking
Prior to delivery and installation of the system, the operating company receives a check-
list entitled “Delivery and installation preparation”, for determining the premises for on-site
transportation routes as well as the conditions for media connections.
The operating company is responsible for furnishing all media connections required by
the system.
WARNING
Falling or swinging loads
Hazard of serious injury
► Wear protective footwear.
► Wear a helmet.
► Only use approved and undamaged lifting accessories and lifting gear.
► Secure the load properly.
► Do not remain under swinging loads.
► Keep the transport area clear.
