TheTitleBaridentiesSimradasthemanufacturer,andthenameoftheproduct
(EK15).Italsoprovidesseveralinformationeldsandbuttons.Theseareusedto
hideorretrievethemenusystemandtheinformationpanes,providenavigational
information,andtoenablebasicsystemfunctions.
BEchogram(s)
TheEchogram(s)takeupthelargestpartoftheEK15displaypresentation.
Bydefault,youwillhavetwoechogramsforeachfrequencychannel
(transceiver/transducercombination);surfacerelatedandbottomrelated.Ifyou
havemorethanonefrequencychannels,theechogramsforeachfrequencycan
bepresentedhorizontallywithoneovertheother,ornexttoeachother.Thisis
controlledbytabsontheStatusbar(D).
Ifyouclickinanechogram,theechogramisselectedtobe“active”.The“active”
echogramisidentiedwithathickborder.Ifyouchangeparametersrelatedtothe
echograms,thesearebydefaultonlyappliedtothe“active”echogram.
Tip
Youcanmodifythesizeoftheechogramsbymovingtheboundarylinesbetween
theechograms.Clickonaboundaryline,holdthebuttondepressed,andmovethe
linehorizontallyorvertically.
CMenusystem
Themenusystemisbydefaultlocatedontherighthandsideofthe
presentation.Toopenanyofthesubmenus,clickthebuttonsunderthe
Mainmenu.Tohideorretrievetheentiremenusystem,clicktheMenu
buttonontheTitleBar.
DStatusBar
TheStatusBarislocatedatthebottomoftheEK15presentation.
EReplayBar
DuringreplayadedicatedReplayBarisprovidedbelowtheTitleBar.TheReplay
Barallowsyoutoretrievesavedles,andtocontroltheplayback.
FSubmenus
Thesubmenusareopenedandclosedbyclicking
thebuttonsatthebottomoftheMainmenu.
GInformationpanes
YoucanchoosefromseveralInformationpanestoprovideyouwithadditionaldata.
ThesepanesareselectedfromthebuttonsontheTitleBar.Thepanescanbemoved
aroundontheechogrampresentation,andyoucanchangetheirsizes.Thepanesare
transparent,soechograminformationdisplayedbehindthemarenotlost.
