Basically,thissettingusesthesameTVGamplicationasFish,butadditional
lteringandcompensationisimplemented.Onlyechoesdetectedandinterpretedas
singleshareshown.Theechoesarecompensatedfortheirphysicalpositioninthe
beam(beamcompensation).Thismeansthatshintheouterregionofthebeamare
adjustedtocorrectsizeeventhoughtheirechoesareweaker.
NotethatthisTargets(40logTVG)settingisonlyfunctionalwithsplitbeam
transducers.

ThisiconislocatedundertheMainmenu.ItisusedtoopentheActive
menu.
2ClickEchogramtoopentheEchogramdialogbox.
TheEchogramdialogboxallowsyoutosetuptheparameterscontrollingthe
echogrampresentation.Thethreetabscontrolthehorizontallines,theechogram
typewithappliedTVG,andhowfasttheechogrammovesacrossthedisplay.
3OntheEchogramtab,observethevariousTVGsettingsthatcanbeapplied.
4ChooseyourTVGsetting.
Tip
Thechangesmadeherewillbydefaultonlybeappliedtothecurrentlyselected
“active”echogram(identiedwithathickborder).Ifyouwishtoapplythe
changestoalltheotherechogramsofthesametype(forexampleallbottomrelated
echograms),clickApplyToAll.
