NOTE: Allswitchsettings,communicationsconnections,powerconnections,and
facilitiesconnectionsshouldbemadebeforepowerisapplied.
ThissectiondescribestherecommendedprocedureforpoweringuptheBrooksAutomation
MarathonExpressClusterToolIntegrationPlatformundernormalcircumstances.
Step Action
1.
Verifythatalloftheinstallationprocedurespreviouslyoutlinedhavebeencompleted.

Ensurethatallswitchsettingsaresetaccordingtotheinstructions.
3.
Turnonthecircuitbreakers.Thestatuslightsshouldcomeonasindicatedin"Power-upSequence"on
page79.
4.
Iftheinitializationsequenceexecuteswithouterror,thenallthecomponentsarereferenced,theCas-
setteModulesareatslot#0,thehostcontrollerhasnotdetectedanysubstratesontheendeffector(s),
andallthecomponentsarecommunicatingsuccessfully.
NormaloperationoftheBrooksAutomationMarathonExpressiscontrolledbytheuser’shost
