Thermal Blankets
Toensurerapidheatingwithminimalheatloss,andtoprovidesomethermalprotectiontoservice
personnel,ThermalBlanketsarecreatedthatprovideacustomfitaroundthetopandsidesofthe
MXsystem’schamber,lid,andlidlifter.Theseblanketsmustbeinplacebeforeabake-outprocess
isbegun.TheblanketsmaybeleftinplaceduringnormaloperationoftheMXsystemastheyare
designedsuchthattheywillnotinterferewithnormaloperation.
Transport Chamber Cooling System
ForMXsystemsthathavetheoptionalChamberHeatingSysteminstalledanoptionalChamber
CoolingSystemmaybeinstalledontheMXTransportChambertoassistinrecoveryfrombakeout.
Thedesignofthewaterchannelswithinthechamberallowswaterflowineitherdirectionallowing
theusertodeterminethepreferredconnectionpointsforwaterflowinginandwaterdrain.Cooling
wateriscirculatedthroughchannelsdrilledintotheTransportChambertoprovidearapidcool-
