pressuregaugeisprovidedtomonitorventgaspressure.
Vacuum Measurement System
Thevacuummeasurementsystempermitsthehostcontrollertomonitorandcontrolpressurein
eachenvironmentallycontrolledchamberduringevacuationandventingcycles.Foreach
evacuatedchamber,thesystemconsistsofavacuummeasurementcontroller,oneortwolow-
vacuumgaugeheadsandahigh-vacuumgaugehead.
VacuumMeasurementController
ThevacuummeasurementsystemincludesVacuumMeasurementControllerslocatedinthesmart
gaugesthatinterpretsignalsfromthegaugeheadsandcommunicatewiththehostcontroller.
Gauges
Highvacuumsystemsusingturbopumpsorcryopumpsrequiregaugestomonitorthevacuum
pressurefromatmospheredownto5x10-8Torrregion.Twotypesofvacuumgaugesareusedon
theMXsystem:MicroIonandMini-Convectron.

VacuumSystemcontrolresideswiththehostcontroller.Duringventingandevacuationcycles,
eachVacuumMeasurementControllermonitorspressurelevelsinitsrespectivechambertoassure
propertimingofventandevacuateoperations.
