Step Action

Connecttheexhaustlinefromthefacilitytothe10mmquickconnectEXHconnectionontheMarathon
Expresssystem’sPneumaticManifold.
WaterandDrain
DependingupontheconfigurationoftheMarathonExpress,watermayneedtobesuppliedtothe
MXsystemforcoolingofcomponentsattachedtothechamber,suchaspumps,orforthecoolingof
thevacuumchamber.Referto"FacilitiesSpecifications"onpage21forwateranddrain
requirements.Ensurethatthewaterconnectionisfortheappropriatepressureandtemperature
andismaintainedtoavoidcorrosion.
DonotturnonthewaterconnectionuntilallconnectionstotheMarathonExpressandallinstallationprocedures
havebeencompleted.
TheseconnectionsareonlyrequiredifthesystemrequirescoolingwaterfortheTransportChamber
ormodulesattachedtothesystem.
