Theendeffector(s)mustbeflattoensurepropersupportofthematerialbeinghandledbytherobot.
Thisprocedurechecksforthetopsurfacesofthematerialsupportsontheendeffectortobewithin
0.076mm(0.003in)ofeachotherandthatnopartoftheendeffectorrisesabovethelowest
materialsupport.
Thisproceduremustbeperformedduringinitialsetupiftheendeffectorissuspectedofdamage
duringshipmentandatanytimethattherobot’sarmsorendeffector(s)aredamaged,removedand
replaced,orchangedwhileinthesystem.Itisalsorecommendedthatthisprocedurebeperformed
asapreventivemaintenancepractice.
NOTE: Tosuccessfullyaligntherobotandtoobtainconsistentandprecisehandling
ofmaterial,thelimitsandtolerancesstatedinthisverificationproceduremustbemet.
