The Raspi is sending the collected data permanently to the internal Ethernet connection port only. To use
the myMBRAUN App this port needs to be connected to the outside world via MBRAUN app data server.
The following listing will explain the data flow:
✓ Data is transmitted via a one-way connection from the Glovebox integrated Raspi system with
the UNIlabD software to the MBRAUN app server only!
✓ The myMBRAUN App is not a remote-control tool for the Glovebox system. Only remote
monitoring is possible to absolutely avoid accidental or unauthorized interaction with normal
glove box operation.
✓ The UNIlabD software at the interface will connect only to the MBRAUN app server via a
standard TLS port. There is no need for port forwarding and standard firewalls techniques can
be used as traffic can be routed via a proxy server
✓ MBRAUN will use the collected data only for technical purposes to improve the performance of
its products and efficiency of service
✓ MBRAUN guarantees, that no customer data is collected except the data from the Glovebox
system
✓ If additional safety parameters are required, the device can be connected to a separate (guest)
network or by means of an additional (LTE) router
✓ Data is transmitted via an encrypted channel (https/TLS) to ensure its integrity
✓ Additional features like newsletters or other service related information are optional and can be
cancelled at any time
✓ MBRAUN assures you that under no circumstances data is given to any third party.

MBRAUN app server. Akquinet does not have granted access to customer data.
✓ Finally, all Glovebox data on the MBRAUN app server are individually protected through the
passcode and are functionality separated
