Preparing material
► Fix the gloveport cover.
► Make sure that the right gloves are used.
► With anatomical gloves, mark the right and left glove.
► If necessary, wear personal protective equipment.
Preparing for glove change while box is out of operation
For glove changes while the box is out of operation (when gases or process materials are
used or processes take place that are hazardous to health or the environment).
► End all processes.
► Switch off the system.
► Close all gas connections.
► Fill the box with ambient air.
Preparing for glove change while box is in operation
(Only when processes take place or process materials are used that do not endanger
health or the environment.)
► Have all necessary parts at hand.
► Work quickly and without interruption.
► Put the gloveport cover into the box.
► Unload sensitive materials or keep them in the antechamber during the glove
change.
► Ensure good ventilation of the room.
► Put the box atmosphere in slight overpressure (approx. 1-2mbar).
Glove change with interior gloveport cover
► Attach the inner gloveport cover either through the
gloveport feedthrough whose gloves should be re-
placed (knob is outside) or through another gloveport
feedthrough (knob is inside).
► Remove both O-rings from the gloveport feedthrough.
► Remove the glove.
