4.10.2 Replacing program text
You can find and replace text in one step.
Requirement
The desired program is opened in the editor.
Proceed as follows
1. Press the "Search" softkey.
A new vertical softkey bar appears.
2. Press the "Find + replace" softkey.
The "Find and replace" window appears.
3. In the "Text" field, enter the term you are looking for and in the
"Replace with" field, enter the text you would like to insert
automatically during the search.
4. Position the cursor in the "Direction" field and choose the search
direction (forward, backward) with the <SELECT> key.
5. Press the "OK" softkey to start the search.
If the text you are searching for is found, the corresponding line is
highlighted.
6. Press the "Replace" softkey to replace the text.
- OR -
Press the "Replace all" softkey to replace all text in the file that
corresponds to the search term.
- OR -
Press the "Continue search" softkey if the text located during the
search should not be replaced.
- OR -
Press the "Cancel" softkey when you want to cancel the search.
