2.4.3 Setting the work offset
You can enter a new position value in the actual value display for individual axes when a
settable work offset is active.
The difference between the position value in the machine coordinate system MCS and the
new position value in the workpiece coordinate system WCS is saved permanently in the
currently active work offset (e.g. G54).
Precondition
The control is in the workpiece coordinate system.
The actual value is set in the reset state.
Note
Setting the WO in the Stop state
If you enter the new actual value in the Stop state, the changes made are only visible and
only take effect when the program is continued.
Procedure
1. Select the "JOG" mode in the "Machine" operating area.
2. Press the "Set WO" softkey.
3. Enter the new position value for X, Y or Z directly in the actual value
display (you can toggle between the axes with the cursor keys) and
press the "Input" key to confirm the entries.

Press softkeys "X=0","Y=0" or "Z=0" to set the relevant position to
zero.
- OR -
Press softkey "X=Y=Z=0" to set all axis positions to zero
simultaneously.
