Remote monitoring active
Remote control active
If remote access is active, using these icons you will be informed in the status line as to
whether a remote access is presently active or whether only monitoring is permitted.
Procedure
1. Select the "Diagnostics" operating area.
2. Press the "Remote diag." softkey.
The "Remote diagnostics (RCS)" window is opened.
3. Press the "Change" softkey.
The "Selected in the HMI" is activated.
4. If you desire remote control, select the entry "Permit remote control".
In order that remote control is possible, the entry "Permit remote
control" must be specified in the fields "Specified from the PLC" and
"Selected in the HMI".
5. Enter new values in the group "Behavior for confirming remote
access" if you wish to change the behavior for confirming remote
access.
6. Press the "OK" softkey.
The settings are accepted and saved.
