Congurationparameterdialogopens.
4ClickPorttochoosewhichseriallineporttouse.
NocommunicationparametersarerequiredsinceonlytheCTSandRTSconnections
areused.
5ClickClosetosavetheselectionandclosethedialog.
6ClosetheInstallationmenu.
Selectingsynchronisationmode
Purpose
ThisprocedureexplainshowtosetuptheSU90tooperateasaslaveormasterdevicein
asynchronisedsystem.
Prerequisites
Itisassumedthattherequiredcablinghasbeenmade,
thattheconnectionshavebeentestedforcontinuity,
andthattheapplicableporthasbeenchoseninthe
Installationmenu.Theperipheralsystem(s)thatshall
controlorbecontrolledbytheSU90mustbepowered
upandoperational.
Procedure
1ClicktheSetuptabtoopenthemenu.
2ClickExternalSynctoopentheparameterdialog.
ThesynchronizationfeatureallowsyoutosetuptheSU90sothatitnevertransmits
whenanothersonarisreceivingechoes,orviceversa.Youcanalsosynchronizethe
SU90tootherhydroacousticsystemsonyourvessel,suchasechosounders.
Whensynchronized,theSU90caneitherbeaMasteroraSlave.
